Moretz, 26, who played Kate Mara’s Kate Mara on the hit NBC comedy series The Office, has undergone extensive cosmetic surgery.
Moretz has been given the name Chloe Grace and is pictured here with her daughter and son-in-law.
She was born with a genetic condition called hypoplastic left ventricle syndrome, a condition that makes her heart grow too large.
Morets surgery has been delayed twice in recent years and she has undergone multiple operations in the past to repair her heart.
She had surgery to remove a blood clot in her heart in October.
The actress was first diagnosed with hypoplasia at age 12, according to her biography on the foundation’s website.
Her mother, Chrissy Moretz of California, said in an interview with NBC that she was “heartbroken” when the show’s creator, Kevin Spacey, revealed that the actress had been diagnosed with the condition.
“It’s just heartbreaking,” Chrissy said.
Moretz and her mother also have separate children, Chloe Grace (pictured above) and Chloie Grace. “
But I think that she would be disappointed and angry if Kevin Spaceys announcement about her condition was not made public.”
